Actor Charles Levin’s Body Found Decomposed 30ft Down Steep Slope

Charles Levin’s Body was Partially Eaten by Vultures off a Remote Mountain Road

The body of television actor Charles Levin was found decomposed at the bottom of a remote hill in Oregon in July weeks after he was reported missing.

Authorities said Levin’s son reported his father’s disappearance on June 28 after Levin had called a friend saying he was lost near Cave Junction, Oregon.

Police said Levin’s body was found on July 13, about 30 feet down a steep slope off a remote mountain road. His body had been scavenged by what police believe to be vultures.

The actor’s orange Fiat was found near his body along with the body of his Boo Boo Bear, which was identified by its collar.

First responders had to slide down the slope to retrieve the body.

Levin’s body was later identified using dental records, and the coroner ruled his death as being “accidental”.

The actor is believed to have gotten lost as he was swapping his home in Grants Pass, Oregon, for a property in Cave Junction.
