Anza, California (November 8, 2019) – Major injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle collision in Anza, Riverside, on Friday afternoon.
According to a local news source, the accident happened on Highway 371 near Cary Road at about 2 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol said a Toyota Tacoma and a full-size van collided for unknown reasons. A sedan was also involved in the accident.
An occupant of the van had to be extricated from the vehicle by the Riverside County Fire Department personnel before being flown to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Two other people were seriously injured in the accident and were airlifted to the hospital for treatment.
A fourth person was transported by ground ambulance.
No further information was provided.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is ongoing.
