San Diego, California (November 4, 2019) – A driver was struck and killed by a vehicle on Saturday night in San Diego, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred at about 10:30 p.m. November 2, on Highway 94 near 805 Freeway.

As per the CHP report, a driver exited a car after crashing on the roadway and started walking to an off-ramp when another vehicle struck him.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle involved sped off after hitting the pedestrian.

No further information concerning the accident was provided.

The accident is under investigation.
