California (November 2, 2019) – A driver was killed in a collision involving a
semi-truck in Highland on Halloween night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened
on Fifth Street at about 10:23 p.m. Thursday, October 31.
Highland Police Department said a car and semi-truck were
involved in the accident. However, the manner in which the accident happened
was not immediately established.
The driver of the small car had to be extricated before being
transported to Loma Linda Medical Center where he died while undergoing

notification of next of kin.
The semitruck driver remained at the scene.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
