2 Killed in San Diego Car Crash on 15 Freeway near Pomerado Road and Miramar Road


Mira Mesa, California (November 2, 2019) – Two people were killed in a car accident that occurred on Friday night in Mira Mesa, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The accident happened at about 11:10 p.m. on 15 Freeway near Miramar and Pomerado roads.

As per the report, a small sedan and a truck were involved in the accident. However, the manner in which the collision occurred was not immediately established.

The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department said two people were killed in the accident.

A third person had to be extricated from the wreckage before being transported to the hospital for treatment.

The identities of the victims were not immediately disclosed.

No further information was provided.
