Sonoma, California (November 2, 2019) – Two girls were injured in a car accident in Sonoma on Thursday
According to the California Highway Patrol,
the accident happened at about 7 p.m. October 31, on Riverside Drive at Cherry Avenue.

Chevrolet Tahoe north on Riverside Drive when he crashed into a parked car for
The impact of the collision pushed the parked
car into two girls aged 10 and 16.
The 10-year-old girl was seriously injured
while the 16-year-old girl is reported to have sustained minor injuries in the accident.
The two were taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
Mendoza reportedly fled the scene after the
accident but was later located and arrested. He was transported to Sonoma
Valley Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
No further information was provided.
An investigation to determine the cause of the
accident is ongoing.
