Modesto, California (November 1, 2019) – A man was injured in a car accident that occurred in Modesto on Thursday morning, October 31.
The accident was reported at about 9:01 a.m. on McHenry Avenue near Morris Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The authorities were pursuing a suspected drug dealer who was driving a Toyota 4Runner southbound on McHenry Avenue.
The suspect, 41-year-old Jason Robison, is reported to have run several stop signs during the chase before crashing into a GMC pickup truck driven by Philip Franklin.
Franklin was reportedly injured in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Robison was taken to Modesto hospital for treatment before he was arrested on multiple charges.
No further information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
