Man Seriously Injured in Berkeley Motorcycle Accident at Shattuck Avenue and Cedar Street


Berkeley, California (October 30, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a car in Berkeley on Tuesday evening.

The motorcycle accident happened at Shattuck Avenue and Cedar Street at about 7:05 p.m. according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP said the middle-aged man was riding a motorcycle in the area when he collided with a car for unknown reasons.

The rider sustained major injuries and was taken to Highland Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the involved car remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

No further information was provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
