Mira Mesa, California (October 30, 2019) – 87-year-old John Fitzpatrick was identified as the man who was killed in a pedestrian accident in Mira Mesa on Monday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Mira Mesa Boulevard near Black Mountain Road at about 6:25 a.m. October 28.

As per the report, Fitzpatrick was crossing the street when he was hit by a car.

The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

No further information was provided.
