Atwater, California (October 28, 2019) – Victor Medina Jr. has been identified as the driver
who was injured in a car accident on Friday night in Atwater.
According to the California Highway
Patrol, the accident happened at about 11:17 p.m. October 25, at Bellevue Road
and Santa Fe Drive.
Medina was reportedly driving a 2003 Volkswagen
Beetle eastbound on the roadway when it collided for unknown reasons with an
eastbound Honda Civic.
Medina is reported to have sustained
unspecified injuries in the collision.
The driver of the Honda was
hospitalized before being arrested on suspicion of DUI.
No further information was provided.
An investigation to determine the cause
of the accident is ongoing.
