David Garcia Killed in Fresno Bicycle Accident on Cherry Avenue near East North Avenue

Fresno, California (October 27, 2019) – 69-year-old David Garcia has been identified as the man who was killed in a bicycle accident in Fresno last Tuesday night.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 9:06 p.m. October 22, on Cherry Avenue near East North Avenue.

31-year-old Korina Machuca was reportedly driving a car northbound on Cherry Avenue when she struck Garcia who was riding a bicycle.

The impact cause the car to spin out of the roadway and crash into a fence.

Garcia was killed in the collision.

Mochuca was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
