Spring Valley, California (October 27, 2019) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car early Sunday morning in Spring Valley.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 12:44 a.m. on Highway 94 near Bancroft Drive.

A pedestrian was reportedly walking in the area when he was struck by a Toyota Prius.

The pedestrian died at the scene of the accident.

The identity of the pedestrian was not immediately disclosed.

An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is ongoing.
