Bakersfield, California (October 27, 2019) – One person was killed
in a traffic collision involving a big rig in Bakersfield on Saturday night,
according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly collision was reported at about 9:15 p.m. October
26, on Highway 99 near Copus Road.
The authorities who responded to the incident found a big
rig and a sedan at the scene of the accident. However, the manner in which the
collision occurred was not immediately established.
As per the CHP report, one person was killed in the collision.
The identity of the deceased was not publicly disclosed.
No further information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
