1 Killed in Santa Clara Motorcycle Accident on Highway 9 near Redwood Gulch Road


Santa Clara, California (October 27, 2019) – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident that injured another person on Saturday night in Santa Clara.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 5:50 p.m. October 26, on Highway 9 near Redwood Gulch Road.

The authorities responded to the incident and recovered a sedan and a motorcycle at the scene of the accident.

However, the manner in which the collision occurred was not immediately established.

The CHP said one person was killed in the crash. Another person was reportedly hurt in the collision.

The identities of the victims were not immediately disclosed.

The collision blocked both directions of Highway 9 for about three hours.

The authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
