Man Injured in San Diego Motorcycle Accident at Rancho Mission Road and Friars Road


San Diego, California (October 25, 2019) – According to a local news source, a motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a collision with a car in San Diego on Friday evening.

The accident happened at Rancho Mission Road and Friars Road near Interstate 15 Freeway at about 5:45 p.m.

A 50-year-old man was riding a 2014 Honda CTX motorcycle and is reported to have been making a turn onto Friars Road from Rancho Mission Road when he was hit by a BMW Z3 that was traveling westbound.

The impact of the collision ejected the rider from the motorcycle.

The unidentified rider reportedly sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The BMW driver was unhurt.
