Woman Injured in Pedestrian Accident on 710 Freeway near Imperial Highway in South Gate, Los Angeles


South Gate, California (October 25, 2019) – According to a local news source, a pedestrian sustained major injuries after being struck by a suspected hit-and-run driver in South Gate on Thursday night.

The accident was reported at about 9:19 p.m. October 24, on 710 Freeway near Imperial Highway.

As per the report, a woman was walking across the traffic lanes when she was struck by a car.

The pedestrian sustained serious injuries in the accident and was transported to St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood for treatment.

The identity of the woman was not immediately disclosed.

The involved motorist reportedly fled the scene after the accident and was yet to be apprehended.
