San Francisco, California (October 23, 2019) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a train in San Francisco on Wednesday evening.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near 22nd Street Station at about 6:39 p.m.

A pedestrian was walking near the intersection when he was hit by a northbound train No. 375.

The pedestrian was killed in the collision.

About 400 passengers were on board the train at the time of the accident. None of the passengers was injured in the collision.

No other information was provided.
