Jurupa Valley, California (October 24, 2019) – A woman was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident that happened on Wednesday night in Jurupa Valley, according to the police.

The accident occurred at around 11:08 p.m. October 23, on Limonite Avenue near Troth Street.

The Jurupa Valley Police said a pedestrian, identified only as an adult female, was struck by a vehicle of unidentified make for reasons still under investigation.

The woman suffered severe injuries in the crash but later succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

The driver of the involved vehicle involved did not suffer any injuries and remained at the scene.

The Jurupa Valley Station’s Traffic Reconstruction Team said alcohol and drugs were not factors in the crash.

The name and age of the victim were not immediately disclosed pending notification of next of kin.

No other information concerning the accident was provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
