1 Injured in Car Crash on Highway 43 at McCombs Avenue in Wasco


Wasco, California (October 24, 2019) – One person was seriously injured in a car crash in Wasco on Thursday morning, according to a local news source.

The collision occurred on Highway 43 at McCombs Avenue at about 6 a.m.

As per the report, a pickup truck and a second vehicle collided on the roadway for unknown reasons. A short time later, a Pathfinder crashed into the disabled pickup truck.

The authorities said the male pickup truck driver was pinned between the Pathfinder and his truck’s door.

The unidentified man is reported to have sustained major injuries and was flown to Kern Medical.

The conditions of other involved motorists were not disclosed.

No further information was provided.
