Ivanhoe, California (October
23, 2019) – The authorities
have disclosed the identity of a woman who was killed in a car accident in
Ivanhoe on Tuesday, October 15.
According to a local news source, the accident happened at
about 6 p.m. at State Route 216 and Avenue 320.
The authorities said 18-year-old Anmoldeep Singh was driving
a car northbound on Highway 216 and was trying to pass a car when it collided
head-on with a car driven by a 24-year-old.
46-year-old Barbara Tanner who was a passenger in the second
car was killed in the collision.
The unidentified driver of the second car sustained major
injuries in the collision and was transported to a local hospital for
Two juvenile passengers in Singh’s car were hospitalized with minor injuries.
No further information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
