Man Killed in Sun Valley Pedestrian Accident at Truesdale Street and San Fernando Road


Sun Valley, California (October 21, 2019) – A 60-year-old man was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in Los Angeles on Saturday night, according to a police report.

The deadly pedestrian occurred at about 11:50 p.m. October 19, at Truesdale Street and San Fernando Road.

The police said a 60-year-old man was trying to cross the street when he was hit by a dark-colored vehicle that was traveling southbound.

The Los Angeles Fire Department took the injured man to a local hospital where he was sadly pronounced dead.

The driver of the involved vehicle fled the scene after the incident.

No other information regarding the crash or the driver was provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
