Joel Fisher Killed in Hit-and-Run Bicycle Accident at Rayen Street and Woodley Avenue in North Hills


North Hills, California (October 22, 2019) – The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has disclosed the identity of a bicyclist who was fatally struck by a car in North Hills on Friday night.

According to a local news source, the accident happened at about 8:23 p.m. October 18, at the intersection of Rayen Street and Woodley Avenue.

As per the report, 56-year-old Joel Fisher was riding a bicycle southbound on Woodley Avenue when he was struck by a car.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and rendered aid to the bicyclist.

The bicyclist was then struck by a second car, described as a black 4-door sedan. The vehicle did not stop at the scene and was yet to be located.

Fisher was transported to a local hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
