Pala Mesa, California (October 19, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision that injured his female passenger in Pala Mesa on Saturday evening.
According to a local news source, the accident happened at about 6:20 p.m. on 15 Freeway near Highway 76.
As per the report, a teenager from Temecula was riding a motorcycle on the freeway when he was struck by a Honda Pilot at the intersection.
The impact of the collision ejected the rider and his passenger from the motorcycle.
The unidentified motorcyclist was killed in the collision.
The 43-year-old female passenger of the motorcycle was injured in the collision and was transported Palomar Medical Center in Escondido for treatment.
The driver of the Honda and passengers in the car were unhurt.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is ongoing.
