Fresno, California (October 19, 2019) – A man died after being struck by a train in Fresno on Friday afternoon, October 19.

According to a local news source, the accident happened at about noon in the area of Blackstone Avenue and McKinley Avenue near Fresno City College.

A pedestrian was walking in the area when he was struck by a train.

The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was transported to Community Regional Medical Center in critical condition. Sadly, the pedestrian died while undergoing treatment.

No further information was provided.
