1 Hurt in Car Accident on Miners Ranch Road near Blakeslee Drive in Oroville


Oroville, California (October 18, 2019) – A major injury pedestrian accident was reported in Oroville on Friday afternoon.

According to a local news source, the pedestrian accident happened in the 6210 block of Miners Ranch Road near Blakeslee Drive at about 1:53 p.m. October 18.

The authorities said a 2004 Buick Century and a second vehicle collided on the roadway for unknown reasons. The impact of the collision sent one of the cars off the roadway and down an embankment.

A pedestrian is reported to have been struck by one of the cars at some point during the collision.

One person is reported to have sustained major injuries in the collision.                                                  

No further information was provided.

An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is underway.
