Ceres, California (October 18, 2019) – A boy was injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident in Ceres on Thursday afternoon, according to a local news source.

The accident happened at about 2:45 p.m. October 17, on Evans Road near Caswell Elementary School.

The 7-year-old boy was reportedly walking in the area when he was hit by a car.

The boy, whose name was not publicly disclosed, was injured in the collision and was transported to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment in unknown condition.

The motorist reportedly fled the scene and was yet to be located.
