California (October 16, 2019) – Two people who died in a traffic collision
in Hawaiian Gardens on Sunday afternoon have been identified.
The deadly accident occurred at around 2:35 a.m. October 13,
at the intersection of Pioneer Boulevard and Carson Street.
As per a local news source, an SUV broadsided another
vehicle in the area for unknown reasons.
A third car is reported to have slammed into one of the two cars
The police said the driver of the SUV was ejected from the
vehicle while the driver of the second car was trapped inside his vehicle.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. They were
identified as 29-year-old Marco Vargas and 45-year- Pang Choy.
The driver of the third car suffered unspecified injuries
and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
No further information concerning the accident was provided.
The crash is under investigation.
