Kellie Michelle Killed in Car Accident on Hoen Avenue near Cypress Avenue in Santa Rosa


Santa Rosa, California (October 16, 2019) – 50-year-old Kellie Michelle was identified as the woman who died in a suspected DUI car crash on Monday morning in Santa Rosa.

According to the authorities, the accident occurred shortly before 3 a.m. on Hoen Avenue near Cypress Avenue.

21-year-old Angel Ivan Martinez was driving a Dodge Challenger on Hoen Avenue when he lost control and slammed into a parked white Mazda.

The impact of the crash pushed the Mazda into the front yard of a home.

A parked Prius was also impacted in the accident.

Michelle and her dog were sleeping inside a Mazda died in the crash.

Martinez is reported to have suffered non-life threatening injuries in the accident. He was later arrested and will likely face charges for DUI and vehicular manslaughter.

A section of Hoen Avenue was shut down following after the accident.
