Garden Grove, California (October 15, 2019) – The authorities have disclosed the identity of a boy who died in a pedestrian accident, which also killed his father in Garden Grove on Saturday night, October 12.

According to a local news source, the deadly pedestrian accident happened at Garden Grove Boulevard and Benton Street at about 8:50 p.m.

6-year-old Eric Molina and his father, 61-year-old Jorge Molina, were walking near the intersection when they were hit by a pickup truck.

The two pedestrians were killed in the collision.

The motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

No further information was provided.
