Man Killed in Palmdale Pedestrian Accident on East Palmdale Boulevard


Palmdale, California (October 13, 2019) – A man in a wheelchair died after being struck by a car in Palmdale on Saturday night, October 12.

According to a statement by Palmdale Sheriff’s Station, the fatal pedestrian accident happened at about 8 p.m. in the 2200 block of East Palmdale Boulevard.

The events preceding the collision were not immediately established; however, the man is reported to have succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The man was not publicly identified.

The driver of the involved car, identified only as a 31-year-old man- remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

No further information was provided.

The authorities are gathering information to determine the cause of the accident is ongoing.
