Hesperia, California (October 13, 2019) – One person was killed in a car accident which left a second person seriously injured in Hesperia on Saturday night.
According to a local news source, the accident happened at about 8:30 p.m. October 12, at the intersection of Main Street and Mariposa Road.
As per the report, a BMW was traveling westbound on the roadway when it ran a red light and t-boned an Honda that was traveling through the intersection.
The impact of the collision sent the BMW off the roadway where it crashed into a palm tree.
The driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second person was seriously injured in the accident and was flown to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment in critical condition.
The identities of the victims of the crash were not immediately disclosed.
No further information was provided.
The authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
