Woman Struck and Killed by Car on Madonna Road in San Luis Obispo


San Luis Obispo, California (October 10, 2019) – A 62-year-old female tourist was struck and killed by a car in San Luis Obispo on Tuesday night, October 8.

The fatal pedestrian accident occurred at about 9 p.m. in the 200 block of Madonna Road.

According to the authorities, the woman was attempting to cross the street when a vehicle struck her.

Paramedics arrived at the scene and rushed the woman to the hospital. Sadly, the woman succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment.

The woman was not publicly identified.

No further information on the accident was provided.
