Bakersfield, California (October 9, 2019) – A teenager was injured after being struck by
a car in Oildale, Bakersfield, on Wednesday morning.
According to the California
Highway Patrol, the pedestrian accident happened at about 7:02 a.m. at Norris
Road and Arvin Street near North High School.
17-year-old Dylan Duthridge
was walking near the intersection when he was hit by a car. A second vehicle
may have struck the pedestrian.
Duthridge was injured in the
collision and was transported to Kern County Medical Center for treatment.
