Joe Biden Calls for President Trump Impeachment during Campaign Event in New Hampshire

Biden Calls for Trump to be Impeached

Former Vice President Joe Biden on Wednesday called for the impeachment of President Trump over the Ukrainian controversy.

Speaking at a campaign event in Rochester, New Hampshire, Biden said: “To preserve our Constitution, our democracy, our basic integrity, he should be impeached.” The former vice president said Trump is “shooting holes in the constitution” by asking foreign powers to interfere in the 2020 election by pursuing dirt on the Bidens and then refusing to cooperate with the resulting House impeachment inquiry.

Biden’s comments on impeachment came just a day after the White House vowed not to participate in the House Democratic impeachment inquiry. White House counsel Pat Cipollone wrote a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the chairs of the three committees leading the impeachment probe declaring that Trump administration will refuse to cooperate with what it considers illegitimate process.

Trump responded to Biden’s comments on Twitter saying he did nothing wrong and that He (Biden), and son Hunter, has ripped off at least two countries for millions of dollars at the detriment of the American Taxpayer.
