Los Angeles, California (October 9, 2019) – A man was killed in a collision involving a big rig
that happened in the Bel Air area of Los Angeles early Tuesday morning.
According to the
California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on 405 Freeway near Bel Air
Crest Road at about 4:00 a.m. October 8.
The authorities said
a man had been driving a Dodge Journey on the roadway when his vehicle became
disabled and was rear-ended by a Kenworth truck driven by 49-year-old Craig
driver of the Dodge was killed in the collision.
A passenger in the
Dodge, 32-year-old Chevette Pugh, was seriously injured and was transported to
a local hospital for treatment.
The authorities ruled
out drugs and alcohol as factors in the collision.
