Yuba City, California (October 8, 2019) – The authorities have disclosed the identity of a boy who was seriously injured after being hit by a car in Yuba City on Monday morning.
According to a local news source, the pedestrian accident happened at about 8 a.m. October 7, on Franklin Road near Lindsey Lane.
13-year-old Alec Flores was walking along the roadway when he was hit by a car.
Flores sustained major injuries and was transported to a local hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
The driver of the car, 36-year-old Constance Addison, fled the scene after the accident but was later located and arrested.
Addison, who had three children in the car at the time of the accident, faces multiple charges including felony hit-and-run, felony DUI and child endangerment.
