Ventura County, California (October 8, 2019) – According to the California Highway Patrol, three people were injured in a car accident in Ventura County on Monday night.
The accident happened at about 10 p.m. October 7, on Pacific Coast Highway near Mugu Rock.
As per the report, a Ford Ranger, a Jeep Rubicon and a tractor-trailer were involved in the collision. However, the manner in which the collision occurred was not immediately established.
The big rig reportedly overturned onto its side after the collision.
Three people were injured in the accident and were transported to Ventura County Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.
The collision resulted in a temporary closure of the roadway as the authorities cleared the scene.
No further information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
