Sacramento, California (October 4, 2019) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident that occurred in Sacramento on Thursday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happens near South Haven Drive at an unspecified time.
A woman was reportedly walking her dog in the area when she was hit by a car.
The woman sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the woman was not immediately disclosed.
The dog was injured in the accident and was transported to Sacramento County Animal Control.
The involved vehicle, a Honda Civic coupe, drove away after hitting the woman and was yet to be located. No further information was provided.
