Roseville, California (October 3, 2019) – A man died after being hit by a car in Roseville early Thursday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 12:45 a.m. on Interstate 80 Freeway near Douglas Boulevard.
The 40-year-old man was reportedly walking across the roadway when he was hit by a Toyota Camry that was traveling in the No. 3 lane of the highway.
The impact of the collision threw the man into the second lane where he was hit by a passing Ford F-150 pickup truck.
The unidentified pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
