Ceres, California (September 26, 2019) – The identity of a woman who was injured in a pedestrian accident on Wednesday afternoon in Ceres has been disclosed.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident was reported at about 1:35 p.m. September 25, on Central Avenue.
According to a local news report, Hannah Marie Garcia was walking westbound across the street when she was hit by a Honda driven by 17-year-old Adriel Ayala-Riuas.
Garcia, a resident of Modesto, was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
No further information was provided.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is underway.
