2 Men Killed in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident at Normandie Avenue and 95th Street in Westmont, Los Angeles


Los Angeles, California (September 26, 2019) – The authorities have disclosed the identity of one of the two men who were killed in a pedestrian accident in the Westmont area in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.

According to a local news source, the accident happened at Normandie Avenue and 95th Street at about 8:25 p.m. September 24.

47-year-old Felipe De Jesus Ruiz Parra and a second man were walking in the area when they were hit by a car driven by 38-year-old Adolfo Flores, Jr., of Los Angeles.

Parra died at the scene of the accident.

The second unidentified man was transported to a local hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.

Flores, Jr. reportedly fled the scene after the accident and was yet to be located.

No further information was provided.

An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is ongoing.
