Saud Abdulaziz Bin Nasser Al Saud: Saudi Prince Convicted In Bandar Abdullah Abdulaziz Murder – On Tuesday at the Old Bailey, a Saudi prince was found guilty of murdering his servant inside the famous Landmark Hotel in London. Prince Saud Abdulaziz bin Nasser al Saud murdered Bandar Abdullah Abdulaziz at the hotel in London on February the fifteenth. When the Prince was sentenced on Wednesday, he was facing life in prison. The jury at the Old Bailey took ninety five minutes to come back with a verdict on the case.
In a video which was shot inside an elevator inside the hotel, the Prince is seen battering and pushing around his servant. This lead the prosecutor to conclude that the Prince had abused his servant for a long time.
It was also claimed that there were photographs which were stored on the Prince’s phone which suggested that there was a sexual element to the abuse. During the attack in February, the Prince was said to have consumed champagne as well as cocktails, which perhaps added fuel to the fire. He believed that he would not be prosecuted in the United Kingdom because of diplomatic immunity.
If the Prince were to return to Saudi Arabia then he would almost certainly face a death penalty. This is not because of the crime that he has committed, but because he is gay, which is classed as a crime in Saudi.
Reports state that the victim did not retaliate in the attack which ultimately killed him, as there was not a mark on the Prince.
