Shirley Sherrod Andrew Breitbart Lawsuit

Shirley Sherrod Andrew Breitbart Lawsuit – Shirley Sherrod will be suing Andrew Breitbart for posting a blog post that eventually got her fired from the Agricultural department. The conservative blogger posted a video and edited it in a way that made it seem like she was racist.

She was forced to resign as a result of the video, but it soon became clear that a mistake had been made when witnesses said that the tape had been edited. Sherrod, who is black, was speaking to a local NAACO group about racial reconciliation at the time, and the blogger made her speech out to be something that it wasn’t.

Sherrod said she would definitely be suing over the event when she spoke at the National Association for Black Journalists convention.

Sherrod was offered a new job in the department following the incident, and she has not yet decided if she will accept the position.

She said that she still has yet to receive an apology from Breitbart, and that she was no longer seeking one because it had been too long.

“He had to know that he was targeting me,” she said to the crowd. The blogger did not immediately respond to a call or emails that were seeking a comment from him. He explained that he posted a portion of the speech in which Sherrod expresses reservations about helping a white farmer, and that he did so to prove that racism exists in the NAACP, an organization that demands racial equality.

The farmer came forward after Sherrod resigned, saying that she did in fact help him save his farm.
