Sarah Palin Facebook Fans Unhappy With Carly Fiorina Endorsement

Sarah Palin Facebook Fans Unhappy With Carly Fiorina Endorsement – Some of Sarah Palin’s fans on Facebook are not happy with her recent endorsement of former Hewlett-Packard exec Carly Fiorina in the GOP’s U.S. Senate primary in California. Palin is a former vice presidential candidate who had complimented Fiorina on her ability to rise to the occasion and overcome adversity in a statement that read that Fiorina was a “common sense conservative” who was likeable enough to beat the liberal Democratic Senator Barbara Boxer in the upcoming election in November.
Fiorina said that Palin’s endorsement over Tom Campbell who is leading in most polls was very generous. When Palin made her statement on Facebook, nearly 8,000 people clicked the “like” button. However, many of her fans were upset with the recent endorsement.

Nearly 2,000 comments were left after she made the post, most of the debating why the endorsement was not a strong one for the republican party. Some said that she was a typical politician who would lose supporters fast. Others said that they disagreed with the choice but still supported her in her own endeavors.
“She is pro-life, pro-traditional marriage, pro-military, and pro-strict border security and against amnesty. She is against Obamacare and will vote to repeal it and prevent the government takeover of private companies and industries,” Palin wrote. “Carly is also a strong supporter of the Second Amendment. Like me, she is a member of the (National Rifle Association), has a 100 percent NRA rating, and she and her husband are gun owners. She is pro-energy development and believes as I do in an all-of-the-above approach to energy independence,” Palin said in explanation of her choice of endorsement.
