Ann Coulter Canadian University Warning

Ann Coulter Canadian University Warning – Ann Coulter has not always been well liked among the democratic party, but it appears as if a Canadian university, Ottawa Academic, is weary about inviting her to come speak to their students as well. The university wrote Coulter to remind her of their laws before she speaks at the school. They reminded her that the free speech system is different in Canada, and that “promoting hated against any identifiable group would not only be considered inappropriate, but could in fact lead to criminal charges.” Needless to say, Ann Coulter was a little taken aback by the email when she responded on an affiliate website,, by saying that she “expected a fruit basket, not to be threatened with criminal charges.”

The school has dealt with a number of demonstrations on campus since it was announced that she would be speaking at the school. They protests were shown in a number of ways including a “Ban Coulter From Campus” Facebook group that has been gaining the notice of some students around the university since the news first broke. Coulter has been mostly known for her jabs aimed at democratic political leaders, but has also been known to throw a few jabs at Canadian’s as well. This is likely the reason for the protest from some of the students who attend the college, as Coulter had once said that Canadian’s “are lucky we allow them to exist on the same continent as the United States.” Coulter has recently expressed dissatisfaction with some of the pieces of the recent health care form bill, saying that it does “not belong in our legislation.” It is unclear if Coulter favors any sort of health care reform, or is against the whole process in general.
