Carla Bruni Nicolas Sarkozy Cheating Scandal? – There has been a lot of controversy surrounding former supermodel Carla Bruni amid reports that her husband, President of France Nicolas Sarkozy may have been unfaithful to her. Today, she claimed that this was not true, and that there was absolutely nothing wrong with their relationship. Of course, if the allegations are true Sarkozy would not be the first President to be busted being unfaithful to his wife while he held office. Bill Clinton also had a similar problem during the Monica Lewinsky scandal of the 1990′s.

The French media in recent days has reported that both Bruni and Sarkozy have been unfaithful to one another. While the two of them chose not to comment for several days on the matter, Bruni apparently felt that it was time to clear the air and to get her opinion out and in the open. Bruni has been interviewed on a number of prominent television stations including the Sky Network, where she was grilled by her interviewer on the current state and future of her marriage.
Much of this rumor fire was fueled by Bruni’s interview in 2007, where she stated that she was “crazily bored with monogamy.” When pressed about that particular quote, Bruni just alluded to the fact that when she was asked that question she had never been married, and stated that her opinion on the matter had changed drastically since she had made the comment in 2007. As you could guess the tabloids in France have been running crazy with these rumors, and the media frenzy that has been created will probably only spread over the coming days and weeks. Bruni has stated that she plans on making her statements and then letting the situation rest, since there is nothing to talk about since none of the information is true.
