I am always amazed at how it is usually the politicians, the very rich, who want the rest of us to be unprotected, whilst they have all the protection of taxpayer paid security , or they are rich enough to hire gun toting private security.

WE have pretty much lost our first amendment due to the PC crap practice of our government. The second amendment is forever under attack by the feds, the states, the cities etc. If we lose the right to protect ourselves, our property, our very OWN country, what is there to protect us from a TYRANNICAL government? WE ARE GETTING THERE….

I do not understand Chicago wanting to ban or control handguns? Nowhere in America where gun laws have been relaxed has the crime rate went up. Nowhere. If fact every time I think of Chicago and the gun laws they issued I think of Hitler and the gun laws he enforced before WWII.
