Apple iPad International Launch Delayed – The Apple iPad has become increasingly popular. Mass producing the product for an international launch has now been delayed because of the high demand in the United States. So many people are looking to get their hands on the Apple iPad that they are causing conflicts with the developers themselves. Apple is apparently having a bit of a hard time keeping up. There are already thousands of people in the United States on the waiting list to receive their Apple iPad. Any international users who want their iPad delivered to them are said to have to wait another month and the product will be available at the end of May. The amount of people who have lines up to buy the Apple iPad in the United States was completely underestimated and they were not prepared for this kind of interest. Not to mention that iPad accessories are selling like crazy as well.
Apple reported that 500,000 Wi-Fi only iPads sold in just the first week of its launch and because of this really high demand they are going to increase production to accommodate the needs of everyone. A procedure like this takes time though, hence why international users are going to have to wait for a little over another month. Originally, production for the Apple iPad internationally was going to launch around this time coming in mid to late April, it was also planning on shipping out all of the 3g iPads to the United States around this time as well. You can still pre-order your iPad even if you don’t live in the United States. Pre-orders will be available starting on May 10th and you can expect delivery to be around 10-20 days. It is believed that Apple has the capabilities of selling anywhere above 1.8 million iPads just until June. Gene Munster Piper Jaffray said that it will likely be around 1.3 million by that time only because of the supply concern.
