Anna Nicole Smith Estate Loses J. Howard Marshall Fortune In Court

Anna Nicole Smith Estate Loses J. Howard Marshall Fortune In Court – Even though Anna Nicole Smith passed away several years ago, the court has ruled that her estate will not receive any of the money from her former husband and Texas’ billionaire J. Howard Marshall. He had married Smith in the last years of his life, and the court was attempting to figure out if he had ever planned on leaving her any of his fortune had he passed on. The 9th U.S. Circuit Court ruled that the entire estate of J. Howard Marshall would be left to his son, and none of the estate would be left to Anna Nicole Smith. Smith, when alive, had claimed that Marshall had been under immense family pressure to not leave her anything, and that he had originally intended on leaving her a portion of the fortune.
However, when he passed away Marshall made no mention of Anna Nicole Smith in his will. The court determined that he was in the right frame of mind when he made the decision, and that he had intentionally chosen to not leave anything to Smith. It is unclear at this time who would have been set to receive the money had the estate of Anna Nicole Smith been awarded a piece of the fortune.

Kent Richland, who works as a lawyer for the Anna Nicole Smith Estate, has stated that he will appeal the decision that was made by the court. He had also described the case as a “unique” one, and said that there was much more to look at before he counted them completely out. Smith has received a fair amount of criticism from various tabloids when she married the oil tycoon. The tabloids had said that she was only marrying him for his money, as a young beautiful supermodel marrying an elderly man seemed to be a little awkward if there were not some ulterior motives at work.
